Pavelock
Should you choose to lay your pavers onto an Aggregate Base as per
Laying Smart Pavers pdf and have the paving slabs butting up against
each other (making cementious grouting unfeasible), then Smart Precast
recomends the use of a jointing medium such as Dricon Pavelock pdf.
Such a jointing agent sets on application of water and forms a "gummy"
pliable grouting allowing slight paver movement. Full appilcation
instructions are printed on the back of the bag.
PLEASE NOTE: Smart
Precast wishes to advise that you DO NOT mechanically vibrate wet cast
paving slabs as per one of the instructions in this particular PDF file.
Replace this instruction with lightly tapping each paver with the end of
the broom handle or tapping with a cloth covered rubber mallet - to facilitate
settling and compaction of the jointing sand."
